We had hoped to run the Advent Fayre at the end of November but with the continuing Covid uncertainty this has now been cancelled.
As an alternative, there will be a virtual event to showcase all the crafts and produce, with the opportunity to buy direct from the sellers. The raffle will still go ahead with the usual excellent hamper prizes. Watch out for more information shortly.

As the government restrictions on village halls have now eased, we have reopened the village hall to our regular groups, and for a limited number of new bookings.
We are still not available for parties or large social gatherings, but will keep an eye on the changing guidelines and review our policy accordingly.

The Blue Ball is open again!
Normal service is resuming. Dom & Pip ( and a squad of willing helpers ) have rejigged everything to make it Covid secure, with tables spaced out inside and the outside area extended into what was car parking. The interior designers have also been busy and everywhere, including the previously slightly unloved top rooms, are now looking extremely stylish.

May 8th 2020 should have been the day of the annual May Fayre, and the enthusiasm usually channelled into that found its way into a fine celebration of VE day. The bunting was up, the flags were out and food, fashion and music all added to a nostalgic 1940s feel.

Many of you may be taking advantage of this period of enforced inactivity to have a good spring clean. With the council tips currently closed, please resist any temptation to put extra side waste out with your bins - the council are only able to collect waste that is actually in our bins.
